Purposes and Goals of MMYC

The Purposes and Goals of the Michigan Muslim Youth Council are to fulfill the following mission statement: The Michigan Muslim Youth Council is a non-profit, umbrella organization established for high school youth of Michigan, by high school youth of Michigan. MMYC is upheld by the various local Islamic youth groups of Michigan, of which it is comprised. Our goal is to support an active, faith-driven, interconnected youth community while adhering to and promoting the principles of Islam as defined by the Qur'an and the tradition of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
